The Center for Colorado Women’s History is a history museum that focuses on the vibrant stories, memories, and experiences of Colorado women. Located in the heart of Denver, the museum offers bold exhibits, personalized tours, and special events year-round. Take a stroll through our historic house on a 45-minute guided museum tour, or stop by for a quick visit to our gift shop and gardens.
The Center is located within an Italianate style historic home built in 1883, and restored to the 1912-1924 period. Guests who choose the museum tour will find themselves surrounded by domestic objects and art of a bygone era. See keepsakes and mementos from the past, while hearing remarkable stories of Colorado’s women pioneers. Learners of all ages are welcome to participate.

35th Annual Colorado Governor’s Art Show & Sale
The 35th annual Governor’s Art Show and Sale opens Friday, April 25, 2026, for a six-week exhibition at the Loveland Museum. Recognized as one of the largest juried fine art shows to exclusively feature Colorado artists, the 2026 exhibition will showcase work from 65 of the state’s top fine artists, including 10 artists making their first appearance in the show and 55 returning participants.
